What is EasyPlant Reloaded?

EasyPlant Reloaded is a Minecraft plugin written in Java for Spigot/Paper servers. It is a continuation of the original Bukkit Plugin EasyPlant by AmShaegar13.

The premise of this plugin is to allow players on the server this is installed on to be able to more quickly and easily plant crops. To do so, a player simply right clicks the block they want to plant crops on. The plugin will then search for neighboring compatible blocks (so using carrots for example, it would look for farmland blocks) and plant the crop in the adjacent block(s) as well. This means it will use the stack of crops the player is holding and plant up to an entire stack at once (assuming enough available adjacent blocks are found to plant on).

Access to specific types of crops that can be easily planted is controlled via permissions. See the Configuration/Permissions tab for more info.

Please Note: Due to the nature of this plugin, to be officially Minecraft EULA compliant, we recommend giving all players on the server the same permissions for which crops they can easily plant so as not to add additional functionality to only certain players. Otherwise this plugin could give other players an unfair advantage.

Why EasyPlant Reloaded?

EasyPlant Reloaded was made mainly to solve the problem of replanting large farms that players don't want to spend lengthy amounts of time and large amounts of redstone to automate. As a personal fan of the original EasyPlant plugin, EasyPlant Reloaded was developed as a continuation of that original work when development stopped.

While EasyPlant Reloaded is a pretty basic plugin, it offers something unique in terms of what it does. It's a great addition to any server looking for a nice quality of life feature, or just for those who want to have a little fun with their farms!

Demonstration Video

This video was created for the original EasyPlant plugin, which can give you an idea of how it works. The principle is the same, though some additional crops have been added since then in this continued version.

Installation

EasyPlant Reloaded is super easy to install. Simply download the latest .JAR file, then drop that in your plugins folder in your Spigot/Paper server files. Once you've done that, restart your server, then you can also configure your permissions plugin of choice to add the permissions. That's it! Configuration

EasyPlant Reloaded is designed to be simple. As such, it currently has no configuration file - everything is controlled via permissions. If a player has permission to easily plant a crop, then it will work for that crop, and if they don't have permission to easily plant a crop, then it won't work for that crop. Simple as that!

Permissions

EasyPlant Reloaded offers permission nodes for each command available. Here is a comprehensive list of all available permission nodes and what they do.

• easyplant.* - Wildcard permission - Provides access to ALL EasyPlant plant permissions.
• easyplant.seeds - Allows the player to easily plant Wheat Seeds.
• easyplant.potato - Allows the player to easily plant Potatoes.
• easyplant.carrot - Allows the player to easily plant Carrots.
• easyplant.melon - Allows the player to easily plant Melons.
• easyplant.pumpkin - Allows the player to easily plant Pumpkins.
• easyplant.beetroot - Allows the player to easily plant Beetroots.
• easyplant.cocoa - Allows the player to easily plant Cocoa Beans.
• easyplant.nether_wart - Allows the player to easily plant Nether Warts.
• easyplant.lily_pad - Allows the player to easily plant Lily Pads.
